







Getting Started
If you do not currently have the Authenticator app installed, you can find it in the App Store (iPhones) or the Play Store (Androids).

View your Microsoft account
Using your preferred web browser, navigate to https://myaccount.microsoft.com/. Log in with your WSFCS email address and password.
Once you are logged into your Microsoft 365 account:
Click on your profile pic in the top right corner.
Click on View account.

Update security info
On your My Account page, click on UPDATE INFO in the Security Info pane. Sign in and complete any existing MFA method when prompted.

Add Sign-in Method
In the Security Info pane on your My Sign-Ins page, click on Add sign-in method.
Choose Authenticator app from the drop-down menu and click Add.
If you have already installed the Authenticator app on your phone, click Next.

Set up your account
In the Authenticator app on your phone, tap on Add Account.
Tap on Work or School, then on Scan QR Code.
In your web browser, click Next in the Set up your account pane, then use your phone to scan the QR code. Then click Next in the QR pane.

In the Let's try it out pane in your web browser, you will see a number. Type the number into the Are you trying to sign in? box in the Authenticator app on your phone and tap Yes.

Setup Complete
In the Microsoft Authenticator pane in your web browser, it will say Notification approved. Click Next.
In the Security Info pane in your web browser, you will now see the Microsoft Authenticator app as an MFA method.
